Snowmass Village, Colorado may be covered in snow much of the year but is experiencing hot sales at two environment-friendly communities. The Little Nell Residences and The Viceroy Resorts and Residences are currently 65 and 50 percent occupied, respectively, and all of this happened in only a few months time as sales began in mid-December. Both of these developments are LEED certified, meaning that they have incorporated green building practices throughout the construction of the new luxury condos, like using carbon-free renewable energy sources. With a location directly on the mountain, allowing for ski-in/ski-out conveniences, these Aspen residences are priced from $570,000 to over $4 million. It is obviously the combination of the luxurious homes, attractive location and knowing that your condo is environmentally-friendly that has drawn such an interest in these two developments.
