This week Robert Bowden Inc. (RBI) completed the siding as well as the window and door installation on the Atlanta Green House. RBI is a wholesale building material supply company out of Marietta, Georgia that has won several industry related awards not only for their products, but also for customer service and workmanship. RBI often installs their products as well, like they did for the Green Home in Atlanta. Nichiha Siding was used on the home. Nichiha opened a new green concrete fiber cement manufacturing plant last November in Macon. This plant features an on-site water treatment and reuse system and also recycles all scrap cement that they produce making this company an obvious choice for use in the Green House. The windows and doors are also energy efficient and will help reduce monthly bills. The Green House will be auctioned off this fall and all the proceeds from the sale will go to Children’s Health Care of Atlanta.
