This environmentally responsible demonstration home will showcase sustainable design features attainable by the typical Atlanta family.

WSB-TV and Brock Built recently held the project kick off for Going Green – The Green House. This environmentally sensitive home is being constructed at the West Highlands Community (1536 Craftsman Road, Atlanta, GA 30318).

Brock Built, its vendors and suppliers are donating their time and services to build this Earth friendly home, which will be built to Earth Craft standards and constructed of innovative Green building materials. When complete, the house will be auctioned and proceeds will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

To visit The Green House: From I-75/85, take the 10th street exit towards Georgia Tech University and make a left onto Howell Mill Road. Make right onto 8th street and go 2 blocks, merging with W. Marietta St. which will become Perry Boulevard. Proceed on Perry Boulevard and pass the MARTA Bus Maintenance Facility on the left and immediately make the next left on to Habershal Drive. Proceed down Habershal Drive past the new homes for sale and make the first left onto Craftsman Road.
